Free, also known as Marie Wright visited K-State in Spring 2009 as park of DMC week at K-State. She spoke to crowd of intrigued students in the K-State Student Union Little Theater.

Ed Gordon, award-winning journalist and news anchor, visited K-State on Feb. 11, 2009 at the Student Union Ballroom in conjunction with an event sponsored by the Black Student Union and Diverse Mass Communicators.
